EpoxSil HVAC Coatings is a two-part, water based, environmentally friendly coating, EPA and FDA approved for drinking water and food contact, plus has many other certifications. Our ASTM B117 Salt Spray test is 15,000 hours with an even higher test limit on our Clear Cabinet Coating. EpoxSil contains Biocides including SILVER to stop biological growth on HVAC coils and equipment, which increases IAQ and reduces cleaning of the coils. Because it is water-based coating vs old technology of Poly Urethane or other Solvent based coatings, EpoxSil applies much easier in high humidity environments. EpoxSil is self-etching, a one coat process, cleans up with water and holds up great in all environments.
